Staff supervision and training

  • Supervise housekeeping staff, including hiring and performance evaluation.
  • Provide orientation and training on cleaning methods, policies, and safety procedures.
  • Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for shifts.
  • Assign daily tasks and inspect work to ensure it meets standards.
  • Motivate staff and resolve any workplace conflicts or issues.

Cleaning and maintenance

  • Inspect rooms, public areas, and stairways to ensure cleanliness and order.
  • Conduct quality control checks and use checklists to monitor room status.
  • Report and follow up on maintenance and repair needs for the building and equipment.
  • Ensure equipment is well-maintained, safe, and stored correctly.
  • Coordinate with laundry services for linen and other supplies.

Inventory and supply management

  • Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Order and issue supplies and equipment to the staff.
  • Maintain par stock levels for supplies on each floor.

Administration and reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports for management, which may include occupancy, expenses, and payroll.
  • Submit maintenance requests and other necessary reports.
  • Ensure all operations comply with established safety and sanitation policies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
