Job Description – Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day site activities to ensure smooth execution of work.
  • Supervise manpower, allocate tasks, and monitor productivity on-site.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and workers to meet daily and weekly targets.
  • Ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Maintain daily progress reports, labour records, and site documentation.
  • Monitor material usage, check deliveries, and raise requests for material requirements.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed and workers adhere to PPE standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to check quality, identify issues, and ensure timely rectification.
  • Coordinate with the site in-charge for planning, sequencing, and resolving site-level challenges.
  • Maintain discipline, manage workforce issues, and ensure smooth work environment.
  • Assist in handling tools, equipment checks, and maintain proper housekeeping at the site.
  • Support in preparing checklists, measurements, and basic reporting formats.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team-handling skills.
  • Good understanding of site execution (civil / finishing / general supervision).
  • Ability to read basic drawings (if construction-related).
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
  • Basic computer knowledge (Excel, email preferred).
  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to work under pressure.
