We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commi i-Chinese to join our team at Marriott International. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and excellent culinary skills.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook high-quality Chinese dishes, including stir-fries, noodles, and desserts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other chefs to develop new recipes and menus.
  • Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commi i-Chinese or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine, including cooking techniques, ingredients, and menu planning.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Strong attention to detail, focusing on delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
