We are seeking a skilled and proactive
IT Support Engineer
to provide technical support, maintain IT infrastructure, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across hardware, software, and networking systems. The ideal candidate should be hands-on with troubleshooting, customer service oriented, and able to work both independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users (onsite and remote).
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and IT equipment.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across systems (Active Directory, Office 365, etc.).
  • Ensure proper setup and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Monitor system performance, network connectivity, and security compliance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for escalations and support.
  • Document issues, solutions, and maintain IT knowledge base for future reference.
  • Support cloud-based tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Office 365, Azure/AWS basics).
  • Assist in IT asset inventory management and procurement.
  • Perform regular data backup checks and support disaster recovery processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience (1–3 years) in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of
    hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux/Mac), and networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPNs)
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Active Directory, Office 365/Google Workspace, cloud basics, and antivirus/firewall solutions
    .
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with customer-centric communication.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple support requests.

Preferred Skills
(Good to Have)

  • Knowledge of cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Basic understanding of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified, etc.).
