Director - Product Management

Grade Level (for internal use):

The Product Manager position is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product and software development lifecycle.  The individual we seek for this role will have the right combination of leadership skills, technology background, business acumen, data analysis and proven product management expertise.  The Product Manager will work across multiple streams of features to provide guidance and direction to assure the success of the product.

Responsibilities Include

• Become an EDM Solutions subject matter expert
• Define and manage the product strategy and roadmap
• Work with customers, field organizations and other PMs across our vertical businesses to capture product requirements and feedback
• Create use cases, requirements, and user stories for product development.
• Evangelize product roadmap with customers, analysts, and field organizations
• Nurturing customers and securing them as references
• Define key metrics for measuring product success.
• Define new product feature qualification criteria and help prioritize the product roadmap
• Create and contribute to an environment that is geared to innovation, high productivity, and high quality.
• Mentoring junior product team members
• Act as a leader within the company

Required Skills & Experience: 

• BA/BS/CS degree.
• Minimum 12-15 years of software product management or technical product management experience required.
• Defining, driving and launching a successful software product from scratch, or delivered multiple major software product releases.
• Technical background, with experience in software development projects.
• Exceptional communicator, with strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Passion for analysing software products, customers and market dynamics.
• High attention to detail 
• Ability to command a group of individuals in a room quickly and be assertive in a public environment
• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects/tasks simultaneously
• Strong understanding of system design and development concepts and technologies

Desired Experience: 

• Financial industry experience is a plus
• MDM / Data Management experience
