Location: Coimbatore

Job Type: Full-time

Working Hours: Two Shifts Available

  • Shift 1: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM

  • Shift 2: 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM

Job Overview:

Abhasa Rehab & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process, ensuring the well-being of our patients and providing essential support to our counseling staff. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Support:

  2. Provide emotional and social support to patients undergoing rehabilitation.

  3. Monitor and assess the mentajl and emotional well-being of patients.

  4. Collaboration:

  5. Work closely with the counseling team to report patient progress and any concerns.

  6. Collaborate with medical professionals to address the holistic needs of patients.

  7. Documentation:

  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and progress.

  9. Prepare reports and case notes for review by the counseling and medical staff.

  10. Crisis Intervention:

  11. Respond to and manage crisis situations effectively.

  12. Implement crisis intervention strategies as required.

  13. Education and Training:

  14. Provide education and training to patients on coping strategies and life skills.

  15. Conduct workshops or support groups as part of the rehabilitation program.

  16. Team Communication:

  17. Maintain open communication with colleagues and contribute to team meetings.

  18. Participate in case conferences and treatment planning sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.

  • certification as a Social Worker.

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Understanding of mental health issues and substance abuse disorders.
