Assistant Industrial Engineer
Assistant Industrial engineer is a detail-oriented and analytical role to support the optimization of production systems, workflows, and resource allocation. The ideal candidate will assist in analyzing processes, reducing waste, improving quality, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
ü Assist in analyzing and improving manufacturing or operational processes to increase productivity and efficiency.
ü Collect, compile, and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
ü Support time and motion studies, process mapping, and layout planning.
ü Help design workflows, workstations, and material handling systems.
ü Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Engineering, Projects, Maintenance, Logistics, safety, HRT, CI etc) to implement improvement initiatives.
ü Support lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement projects.
ü Document and update standard master files such as capacity, man power etc.
ü Assist in the development and implementation of KPIs to monitor performance.
ü Participate in productivity, cost reduction, quality enhancement, and process automation projects.
Requirements
ü Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
ü 1–2 years of relevant experience.
ü Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
ü Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and AutoCAD software.
ü Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus.
ü Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
ü Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
