
Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager Flow Product Sales

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Achieve/exceed order booking targets set for the range of Flow Measurement Products in the assigned territory.
- Effective coverage of all accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction. Individuals are expected to ensure high service levels by being in constant touch with all stakeholders with regular visits.
- Furnish monthly bookings forecast to the regional sales leader and meet / exceed the forecast.
- Planning and achieving Orders and Sales targets as agreed.
- Ability to explain our product superiority and there by Conversion of competitor products and develop new customer / markets.
- Provide application and selection support to the customers in pursuit of growth and market penetration.
- Maintain a good company image of integrity, proficiency, efficiency and concern for customers and representatives.
- Furnish reports and feedback on competitor activities, market intelligence, including prices and products on a periodic basis.
- Conduct site walk down and build primary demand by doing solution selling.
- Periodically conduct Field Demo / Technical Presentations to customers to drive Key differentiation points.
- Ensure that the orders are closed successfully, Clean Order checklist and handover to Order Entry and Project Management team.
- Having a natural curiosity for understanding 'why' – understanding the customer's process.
- Monitor and ensure that the post order service levels are maintained, receivables are collected on time and product is achieving the intended purpose once delivered to customer.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the necessary skills to effectively apply technology and systems specific to the department required.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Selling and negotiation skills.
- Familiar with basic business software applications.
- Good knowledge of Inco terms and Commercial terms and conditions.
- Good exposure on End user customers in Primary Demand Creation
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Engineering Degree (Mechanical/ Instrumentation) with Minimum 4-8 years' experience in technical sales preferably within the process industry.
- Knowledge and skill of Flow Meter technology and sizing to provide technical support to customers and representatives.
- Selection of correct technology, models, understanding of competitors offering.
- Give correct inputs to proposal team and support customer with accurate selection of meters.
- Knowledge of Process industry, knowledge of various flow technologies available in market, their advantages, disadvantages and hands on experience on sizing software of flow meters.
- Good analytical skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Willing to travel to customers within the assigned area. Should have excellent customer connect and rapport. Expected travel is 80% of duration.
