Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced
Assistant Product Manager- Payment Lounge (payment gateway)
with a strong background in payment gateway, payment aggregator, or fintech companies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end payment product lifecycle — from merchant onboarding to TSP integrations — and will work closely with tech, compliance, and business teams to drive execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to build and iterate on product features.
  • Prioritize product backlog based on business impact, customer feedback, and technical feasibility.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and optimize for reliability, speed, and user experience.
  • Technically sound – able to read logs, triage issues with engineering, and manage sprint deliveries.
  • Experience with APIs, webhooks, and debugging merchant integration issues.
  • Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to define test cases and ensure thorough product testing before release.
  • Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validate product functionality against business requirements.
  • Monitor post-release performance and coordinate bug fixes or enhancements based on testing feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 2-5 years of product management experience in fintech or payments
  • Strong understanding of payment gateway architecture, APIs, and transaction flows
  • Experience with UPI, card networks (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), and alternative payment methods
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, and Figma
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
  • Technical background or hands-on experience with backend systems is a plus
