Senior Project Manager – IT Delivery

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager with 8+ years of experience leading and delivering large-scale, complex IT projects for high-profile enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project planning and execution, ensuring seamless coordination across cross-functional teams, on-time delivery, and alignment with client expectations. This role requires exceptional client relationship management skills, strategic thinking, and a strong focus on delivering high-value outcomes in different scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution:

Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, resources, budget, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Client Communication & Relationship Management:

Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients, managing expectations, reporting progress, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

• ITSM Process:

Collaborate with IT service delivery teams to ensure project initiatives align with incident, problem, change, and release management processes.

• Delivery Assurance:

Ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, adhere to agreed timelines, and align with client's goals.

• Resource & Budget Management:

Efficiently allocate resources and manage project budgets, ensuring optimal utilization while staying within financial constraints.

• Escalation & Risk Handling:

Proactively identify project risks and issues, implement mitigation plans, and handle escalations with speed and professionalism.

• Team Leadership & Coordination:

Lead large, cross-functional project teams (often 25+ members), fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Agile & Hybrid Methodology Execution:

Apply Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies for iterative delivery, sprint planning, progress tracking, and successful deliveries.

• Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain comprehensive project documentation using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project. Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders and clients.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• 8+ years of proven experience in IT project and service management, with a successful track record of delivering high-budget, enterprise-scale projects.
• Proven experience in environments where ITSM processes are tightly coupled with project delivery.
• Strong exposure to ITIL processes such as incident, change, and release management
• Demonstrated experience with complex system integrations, digital transformation, or software development lifecycle (SDLC) projects for Fortune 500 or large enterprise clients.
• Experience with large teams, multi-vendor coordination, and distributed delivery models.

Preferred Certifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) – PMI
• PRINCE2 Practitioner
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (Optional)
• ITIL certification (a plus)
