Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager, L&Dto design and deliver impactful learning programs that strengthen leadership, manager capability, and individual contributor development. The role blends instructional design, program management, and digital learning innovation to drive a culture of growth and continuous learning. This position reports to the Manager of Organizational Development.

What You'll Do

  • Leadership Training: Design, storyboard, deliver, and manage leadership training program - from concept to post-delivery follow-through.
  • Manager & IC Training: Build and facilitate recurring training programs that prepare managers to lead in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and help individual contributors thrive in a culture of adaptability, respect, collaboration, and results.
  • Learning Materials Development: Create engaging learning assets such as videos, toolkits, eLearning modules, and job aids to drive impact and retention.
  • Business-as-Usual Support: Monitor and respond to training-related inquiries, ensuring managers and employees get timely support and resources.
  • AI & Digital Enablement: Identify and integrate opportunities to use AI and digital tools to improve how learning is designed, delivered, and scaled.
  • Needs-Based Customization: Adapt training programs based on insights from learning needs analysis to align with business priorities and evolving skill requirements.
  • Organizational Development Projects: Contribute to high-impact OD and talent development initiatives as part of the broader People strategy.

  • Timely rollout of leadership, manager, and IC training programs.
  • Positive feedback and high engagement from learners.
  • Evidence of alignment between training and business priorities.

What You'll Add to DigitalOcean

  • 5+ years in learning & development with experience in building high impact Leadership Training, skilled in training needs analysis, instructional design, and program management.
  • Ability to design, develop, and deliver training programs that are practical, engaging, and aligned with business needs.
  • Understanding of adult learning theories and how to apply them in fast-paced environments.
  • Comfort with Google Suite, digital learning tools,  AI video platforms such as Synthesia and authoring tools such as Rise 360.
  • Strong presentation, communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders across functions.
  • A genuine interest in helping managers and employees grow and succeed through continuous learning.
