Job Description: E-Commerce Manager (Remote)
Compensation: $1,500 $2,000 USD/month (depending on experience)
Location: Remote (Overseas applicants welcome)
Type: Full-time
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on, and highly technical E-Commerce Manager to oversee and grow our online sales operations across multiple channels. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader and problem-solver with deep experience in marketplaces, Shopify, digital advertising, and team management.
This is a senior-level role where youll manage outsourced staff, ensure smooth daily operations, and directly impact growth across Amazon, Shopify, Wayfair, Home Depot, Walmart, and more.
Key Responsibilities
Team & Leadership
- Manage a team of outsourced employees: assign tasks, set deadlines, and monitor productivity.
- Provide guidance, training, and feedback to improve team performance.
- Report inefficiencies and propose solutions to senior management.
- Maintain accountability and enforce company standards.
E-Commerce Operations
- Oversee all sales channels via Shopify and ChannelAdvisor/Rithum (or similar tools).
- Ensure product listings, pricing, and content are accurate and optimized.
- Manage and grow accounts across Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, Home Depot, eBay, and other marketplaces.
- Track compliance with marketplace rules and ensure smooth operations.
Advertising & Growth
- Plan, manage, and optimize Google, Meta, TikTok, and Shopify ad campaigns.
- Audit ad spend and improve ROI/ROAS across channels.
- Identify new growth opportunities and marketplace expansions.
- Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.
Data & Reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards (Excel, Power BI, AI tools) for sales, ad performance, and profitability.
- Map sales to campaigns and analyze performance drivers.
- Monitor platform-specific KPIs (pricing, penalties, returns, category growth).
- Turn raw data into actionable insights and strategies.
Product & Merchandising Strategy
- Optimize product catalogs and run A/B tests on listings, images, and pricing.
- Track competitor activity and benchmark MSRPs.
- Analyze seasonal demand and identify top-performing SKUs.
- Recommend strategies for product positioning and merchandising.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an E-Commerce Manager / Account Manager across multiple marketplaces.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing remote or outsourced teams.
- Advanced knowledge of Shopify (store creation, design, integrations, optimization).
- Proficiency with ChannelAdvisor or other multi-channel management tools.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, Home Depot, eBay, etc.
- Expertise in digital advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Shopify Ads).
- Strong analytical and reporting skills: Excel, Power BI, and data visualization.
- Comfortable with APIs, integrations, and technical troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written & spoken).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
