Role & responsibilities
- Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all guests to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction through personalized service from arrival until departure.
- Ensure guests are personally greeted and escorted to their rooms. Explain the room and other hotel facilities to make them feel both expected and welcomed. Conduct in-room and hotel familiarization, and assist guests with any hotel activity inquiries or requests.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of hotel information and local services, including operating hours, promotions, events, and attractions, to respond to guest queries effectively. Be aware of daily rate levels and occupancy levels.
- Accurately administer Front Desk cashiering standards and comply with all established systems, policies, and procedures. Process guest accounts from check-in to check-out, ensuring all incidental charges are accurately posted using the computerized Front Office system.
- Maintain the privacy of all guests by ensuring their personal details are not disclosed. Demonstrate a complete understanding of the hotels policies, procedures, and service standards, and have full knowledge of the hotel's facilities and happenings.
- Ensure a proper handover is given to the next shift and coordinate effectively with the Housekeeping Department.
Preferred candidate profile
This role requires a MALE candidate who is able to work the night shift.
