About Us:
We are a well-established training provider and tuition centre in the UK offering SIA, CSCS, Functional Skills, Driving Theory, other professional courses and tuition to children from Primary to GCSE. We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to scale our business, increase course enrolments, and build strategic partnerships.
Role Overview:
As a BDE, you will be responsible for growing the business, increasing revenue, and improving operations. You will develop marketing strategies, generate leads, close sales, and build partnerships with businesses and agencies that need training for their staff.
You will also analyse current processes and help automate and streamline operations to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Business Growth & Sales
- Increase Course Enrolments – Develop & execute strategies to attract more learners.
- Generate Leads – Identify and target new potential customers (individuals & businesses).
- Close High-Value Sales – Convert leads into paying leaners using strong sales skills.
- Develop B2B Partnerships – Build relationships with companies, recruitment agencies, and organizations that require staff training.
- Corporate Training Sales – Pitch and sell bulk training packages to businesses.
- Digital Strategy & Content - Oversee social media campaigns, content creation, and online advertising to drive awareness and engagement and Work with the web development team to optimize the website for lead generation, user experience, and course enrolments.
- Marketing & Competitive Analysis – Monitor competitors and adjust strategies to stay ahead in the market. Stay ahead by identifying trends in the UK training industry.
- Regenerate income: upselling additional courses, launching membership programs, creating loyalty and referral programs etc.
- Oversee Operations Team – Manage daily operations and ensure tasks are delegated efficiently, freeing up your time for strategic decisions.
- KPI Tracking – Develop and track KPIs related to course enrolments, lead generation, sales revenue, and customer retention.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Reduce Admin Overload – Implement automation for enrolments, payments, and reminders.
- ZOHO CRM Optimisation – Ensure all enquiries and follow-ups are well-tracked.
- Optimize Pricing & Course Packages – Identify new pricing strategies to increase revenue.
- Improve Business Processes – Identify where improvement is needed in current business processes and advise accordingly
Lead Management & Enquiry Handling
- Handle High-Value Enquiries – Respond to serious leads via calls/emails.
- Work With Marketing Team – Improve ad campaigns and lead generation.
- Support Team with Sales Scripts – Train staff on handling enquiries professionally.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in business development & sales in Education/training.
- Strong understanding of the UK education & vocational training market.
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills (ability to close sales).
- Experience in lead generation & marketing strategies.
- Ability to automate and optimize business processes.
- Familiarity with Zoho CRM software
- Strong knowledge of Digital Marketing platforms
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results driven.
