About the Role

Cindrebay School of Design, a leading name in design education across India, is looking for a dynamic, driven, and highly strategic Business Head for its Nagpur Branch. This is a high-impact leadership role that requires hands-on expertise in running an educational institution profitably, with a focus on delivering enrolment and revenue targets through sound business acumen and aggressive outreach strategies.

We are particularly looking for someone with proven experience in the education domain—particularly in higher education, vocational training, or edtech—who understands the regional pulse of Maharashtra and Nagpur in particular.

Key Responsibilities

  • Branch Profitability & Performance
  • Own full P&L responsibility for the Nagpur branch.
  • Meet or exceed revenue, enrolment, and profitability targets.
  • Plan, execute, and track business development initiatives.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Devise and implement short-term and long-term growth strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for market expansion, partnerships, and new program development.
  • Develop marketing campaigns specific to Interior Design and Fashion Design courses.
  • Team & Operational Leadership
  • Manage cross-functional teams (admissions, admin, marketing, academic support).
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining high service standards.
  • Train and mentor the local team to meet performance benchmarks.
  • Market Knowledge & Community Engagement
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the education landscape in Maharashtra and Nagpur.
  • Forge ties with local schools, colleges, education agents, and influencers.
  • Represent Cindrebay in local education fairs, expos, and industry events.
  • Reporting & Coordination
  • Provide regular performance updates to the Director – Marketing & Expansions.
  • Coordinate with central teams on academic, finance, HR, and marketing needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 8–15 years in a similar leadership role in the education/edtech/higher education/vocational training sector.
  • Age Group: Preferably between 35 to 45 years.
  • Location: Candidates from Nagpur or surrounding areas will be strongly preferred.
  • Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Leadership: Strong managerial capabilities, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to lead from the front.
  • Personality: Well-groomed, professional, committed, and disciplined individual with clean habits.
  • Preferred Expertise: Experience in managing or marketing Interior Design or Fashion Design programs.
