Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior L2 Engineer Product Analytics & Quality to drive data-driven product insights, ensure platform reliability, and optimize product quality through analytics, automation, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with experience in SQL, Python, and BI tools.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Analytics & Reporting

  • Analyze large-scale product datasets using SQL (AWS Redshift, Databricks, Snowflake, MS SQL Server) and Python.
  • Deliver actionable insights and automate workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce financial risk.
  • Track product adoption, usage, and retention to support strategic decisions.

2. Data Visualization & Business Intelligence

  • Design and maintain Power BI dashboards for product usage, customer engagement, and performance tracking.
  • Enable data-informed decision-making for product and business teams.

3. Data Validation & Quality Automation

  • Build Python-based tools and automations for data validation and reporting.
  • Ensure consistency and governance across data pipelines and systems (Salesforce, Zapier).

4. Technical Monitoring & Collaboration

  • Monitor Databricks workflow jobs and APIs to detect anomalies and improve system reliability.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Sales teams for A/B testing, UX improvement, and root cause analysis.

5. Product Improvement & Management Support

  • Provide insights to product managers via data analysis and user feedback.
  • Log product enhancement and bug reports through Jira to support continuous product improvement.

6. Mentorship & Training

  • Mentor junior analysts and conduct product analytics training sessions
  • Contribute to internal process documentation and data quality best practices.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Product Analytics / Data Quality / L2 Engineering.
  • Strong command of SQL, Python, Power BI, Databricks, and Snowflake.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Zapier, REST APIs, and data automation.
  • Experience with A/B Testing, Amplitude, Fullstory, and product experimentation tools.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Airflow, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
