Job Purpose Statement: The Media Lead is responsible for driving Star Bazaars marketing plans across digital and traditional media channels, with a strong focus on performance-driven digital campaigns. This role works closely with a network of agency partners and internal teams to deliver media strategies that drive store footfall, app engagement, and loyalty program adoption. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in digital media, a strong understanding of retail/ecommerce dynamics, and a collaborative approach to integrating media efforts across stores, e-commerce, and loyalty platforms.

Job Responsibilities:

This position is required to achieve the desired level of performance in the following Key Result areas:

Media Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and execute media plans that align with brand and business objectives across awareness, conversion, and trial.

Digital Performance Marketing:

  • Lead performance campaigns across paid search, social, programmatic, and affiliate channels to drive measurable outcomes.

Channel Integration:

  • Champion seamless media integration across stores, ecommerce app, and loyalty app to ensure unified customer journeys.

Agency Management:

  • Collaborate with media and digital agencies for planning, buying, optimization, and reporting of campaigns.

Audience Targeting:

  • Drive cohort-based targeting strategies to reach relevant audiences with tailored messaging and offers.

Campaign Optimization:

  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and implement optimizations to improve ROI and efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with category, ecommerce, and loyalty teams to align media efforts with business priorities.

Budget Management:

  • Manage media budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation and tracking across channels.

Required Skills & Competencies
