Senior Social Media Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Media Strategist to lead our social media and public relations efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns that drive engagement and business results.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute integrated social media and PR strategies aligned with brand and marketing goals.
  • Create, curate, and oversee high-quality content across multiple social platforms to drive audience engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Manage social media calendars, content scheduling, and campaign execution with a focus on ROI and measurable outcomes.
  • Analyse social media and PR campaign performance using analytics tools, providing actionable insights and regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Engage with online communities, respond effectively to audience interactions, and foster strong relationships with influencers, bloggers, and media contacts.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, communications, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across channels.
  • Lead crisis communication efforts and reputation management on social media platforms.
Requirements:
  • 7-8 years of progressive experience in social media management.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in social media strategy, content creation, community management, and performance analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, SEO fundamentals, and social media advertising platforms.
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse data, translate insights into strategies, and report impact to senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in crisis management and handling sensitive public relations issues on social media.
