About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable AI Engineer to join our AI & Innovation team and play a pivotal role in helping enterprises adopt AI solutions at scale. This role is focused on building intelligent agents, delivering proof-of-concepts (POCs), and enabling real-world AI adoption across multiple cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP.

This is not a research-only role. You will work closely with customers, architects, and engineering teams to translate business challenges into practical, secure, and scalable AI solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in early-stage problem solving, understands enterprise realities, and can take an idea from concept to working solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy LLM-powered AI agents for enterprise use cases
• Develop rapid POCs and pilots to demonstrate business value of AI solutions
• Support customers in AI adoption journeys, from ideation to solution enablement
• Implement RAG-based solutions using structured and unstructured enterprise data
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, and data platforms
• Work across multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP) and recommend the right AI services based on customer needs
• Collaborate with solution architects to design secure, scalable AI architectures
• Assist customers in understanding AI limitations, risks, and governance considerations
• Contribute to reusable AI patterns, accelerators, and internal best practices

Required Technical Skills

Generative AI & Agent Development

• Hands-on experience building AI agents using LLMs
• Strong understanding of:
• Prompt engineering
• Tool / function calling
• Multi-step reasoning and orchestration
• Experience with agent frameworks such as:
• LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI (or equivalent)

Cloud AI Platforms

• Strong experience with Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio / AI Foundry, Azure AI Search preferred)
• Working knowledge of AWS or GCP AI platforms (Bedrock, SageMaker, Vertex AI, etc.)
• Ability to compare and recommend AI services across cloud providers

Data & Integration

• Experience working with enterprise data sources (databases, documents, APIs)
• Understanding of embeddings, vector search, and data chunking strategies
• Strong API integration skills (REST, webhooks, SaaS integrations)

Engineering Fundamentals

• Strong Python development skills
• Experience building AI backends using FastAPI / Flask or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with Git, basic CI/CD concepts, and containerization (Docker)

Security, Governance & Enterprise Readiness

• Understanding of data privacy, PII handling, and AI security risks
• Awareness of Responsible AI principles and enterprise governance requirements
• Ability to design solutions with guardrails and communicate limitations clearly

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, AI, or a related field
• Relevant certifications are a plus:
• Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals / Data Scientist
• AWS or GCP AI/ML certifications
• Proven experience delivering customer-facing AI solutions or POCs
