Our innovative solar lighting company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronics and R&D Engineer to drive the design and development of our next-generation solar, electrical, and hybrid lighting products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both hardware design and embedded software development.

Key Responsibilities

  • PCB Design & Manufacturing:

  • Design, layout, and validate Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), ensuring compliance with industry standards and DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing/Assembly) principles.

  • Manage the process for Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) assembly and testing of prototypes and production boards.

  • Embedded System Development:

  • Serve as a core Embedded Engineer and Hardware Engineer in the full product lifecycle, from concept through mass production.

  • Design and implement embedded system architectures for optimal performance, power efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in solar applications.

  • Firmware & Software Development:

  • Develop, test, and debug firmware and software for microcontrollers and microprocessors in C/C++.

  • Focus on developing efficient electronic drivers, including advanced control algorithms and communication protocols.

  • Power Electronics & Drivers:

  • Design and optimize MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) drivers and charge controllers to maximize energy harvest from solar panels.

  • Develop LED driver circuits for high efficiency and precise light control in hybrid lighting systems.

  • Research & Development (R&D):

  • Lead R&D initiatives to evaluate new electronic components, solar technologies, battery chemistries, and power management techniques.

  • Conduct rigorous testing, simulation, and analysis to ensure product reliability and performance under various environmental conditions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • Hardware Expertise:

  • Proven experience in PCB design and layout (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle).

  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and thermal management.

  • Familiarity with SMT processes and quality control.

  • Software/Coding Skills:

  • Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems and firmware development.

  • Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM, PIC, AVR) and real-time operating systems (RTOS) is a plus.

  • Domain Knowledge:

  • Specific experience with solar power systems, battery management systems (BMS), charge controllers, and MPPT drivers.

  • Familiarity with lighting standards and control interfaces.

  • General:

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and R&D skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
