Role Overview:
The
Vice President – Business
will be responsible for driving overall business growth, strategic partnerships, revenue generation, and market expansion. The role requires a visionary leader who can scale up operations, strengthen sales and marketing channels, and align business goals with the company's mission of delivering high-quality online education.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute business strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead P&L management for multiple verticals (B2C, B2B, and Institutional).
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities to accelerate growth.
- Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team on long-term planning and fundraising initiatives.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive top-line growth through sales strategy, partnerships, and product diversification.
- Establish and monitor revenue targets across regions and segments.
- Optimize conversion funnels, pricing models, and retention strategies.
- Lead and mentor regional business heads and sales teams.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Oversee marketing strategy to enhance brand visibility and customer acquisition.
- Implement digital marketing and performance campaigns to increase reach and engagement.
- Work closely with product and academic teams to create market-aligned offerings.
Operations & Execution
- Build scalable operational frameworks to support growth.
- Monitor key business metrics (CAC, LTV, conversion rate, churn, etc.).
- Drive efficiency through data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
Team & Culture
- Lead cross-functional teams with a focus on performance, accountability, and innovation.
- Foster a growth-oriented and collaborative culture aligned with company values.
Key Requirements:
- MBA/PGDM from a reputed institution preferred.
- 12–18 years of total experience with
at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
in EdTech / eLearning / SaaS / Consumer Internet domain. - Proven track record in
revenue growth, P&L management, and strategic business development. - Strong network in the education ecosystem (schools, colleges, partners, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Revenue growth rate and profitability.
- New partnerships and market expansion.
- Customer acquisition and retention metrics.
- Operational efficiency and team productivity.
Compensation:
