Role Overview:

The Site Engineer will be responsible for the operation, routine maintenance, and monitoring of STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) and RO (Reverse Osmosis) plants at the project site. The role requires hands-on technical skills, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to ensure smooth and continuous plant functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate STP and RO plants as per standard procedures.
  • Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance of equipment.
  • Monitor plant parameters and maintain logs for daily operation.
  • Identify operational issues and troubleshoot basic mechanical/electrical problems.
  • Ensure chemical dosing, backwashing, and cleaning activities are carried out properly.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance at the plant site.
  • Coordinate with senior engineers/management for reporting and technical support.
  • Support in handling external inspections, audits, and documentation.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Basic technical knowledge of pumps, blowers, filters, valves, and water treatment processes.
  • Ability to understand operational data and maintain records.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and onsite conditions.
  • Good communication and team coordination skills.
  • Prior experience in STP/RO plant operation (preferred but not mandatory).
