Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for operating and maintaining Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Reverse Osmosis (RO), and Water Treatment Plant (WTP) systems.
  • Monitor and control treatment processes to ensure compliance with pollution control board norms and quality standards.
  • Regularly check inlet and outlet water quality through sampling and basic testing (pH, TDS, DO, BOD, COD, etc.).
  • Maintain daily operation logs, records of chemical consumption, and equipment performance.
  • Carry out routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment repair.
  • Ensure safe handling and dosing of treatment chemicals as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage sludge dewatering and disposal as per environmental and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the entire plant area.
  • Support in process optimization and report any abnormalities to the site in-charge or engineer.
  • Comply with safety protocols, PPE usage, and company EHS policies.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Qualification: ITI / Diploma / B.Sc in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or relevant discipline.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in operation and maintenance of ETP, STP, RO, or WTP plants.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of biological, chemical, and physical treatment processes.

  • Familiar with pumps, blowers, dosing systems, and control panels.

  • Ability to read and maintain logbooks and operating records.

  • Behavioral Traits:

  • Responsible, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.

  • Willing to work in rotational shifts and field environments.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
