Job Description – Site Supervisor (Service)

Location: New Delhi

Position: Service Supervisor

Role Overview:

The Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising field technicians, ensuring timely and quality service delivery, and maintaining customer satisfaction for elevators and escalators. This role requires leadership, technical knowledge, and customer-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the service and maintenance team.
  • Allocate service calls and preventive maintenance schedules to technicians.
  • Monitor timely closure of breakdown calls, ensuring minimum downtime.
  • Conduct site visits for escalated issues and provide technical guidance.
  • Ensure safety standards and company policies are followed at sites.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly service performance reports.
  • Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to service staff.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers by addressing complaints promptly.
  • Support the sales team in AMC renewals, modernization, and repair jobs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics.
  • Strong technical knowledge of elevators and escalators.
  • Good communication skills in English & Hindi.
  • Leadership ability to manage and motivate service technicians.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) for reporting.

Experience:

  • 3–6 years in elevator/escalator servicing & maintenance.
  • Prior experience in supervisory/team lead role preferred.
