The Site Supervisor oversees daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. They are responsible for managing workers, materials, equipment, and compliance with safety regulations. The Site Supervisor plays a key role in coordinating communication between contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all on-site activities, ensuring the project runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Appropriate and exact measurement is must
  • Coordinate daily work schedules and assign tasks to construction workers.
  • Monitor the quality of work and ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available on-site and in good condition.
  • Review project plans and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all workers.
  • Resolve issues or conflicts that arise on-site and report them to senior management.
  • Maintain records of site activities, progress, and inspections.
  • Ensure proper usage and maintenance of construction equipment.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and work completion.
  • Report progress, delays, and issues to the project manager or site manager.
  • Ensure compliance with all local building codes, environmental regulations, and company policies.

Preferred Qualification

  • High school diploma or equivalent (a degree or technical qualification in construction is a plus).
  • Proven experience in construction or a related field (minimum of 2-3 years).
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Leadership and communication skills to manage workers and interact with clients, engineers, and contractors.
  • Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively under pressure.
  • Knowledge of construction software (e.g., project management tools) is a plus.
  • Valid drivers license and access to transportation.
