In India, digital payments are evolving rapidly, and tokenization has emerged as a cornerstone of secure, device-based and card-on-file commerce. We are looking for a dynamic product manager to join our Digital team and lead Mastercard's tokenization agenda across issuers, merchants, fintechs, and ecosystem partners.

Role
As Manager – Product Management (Tokenization & Digital Products), you will:

• Drive adoption of Mastercard's tokenization services across banks, fintechs, wallets, merchants, and OEM partners.

• Support the rollout of new tokenization capabilities (e.g., network tokenization, device-based solutions, Click-to-Pay, card-on-file compliance).

• Work closely with global and regional product teams to localize and launch Mastercard digital payment solutions in India.

• Partner with business development, account management, and technical delivery teams to support client implementations and go-to-market activities.

• Manage product performance, market feedback, and competitive insights to shape roadmap and strategy for tokenization.

• Represent Mastercard in industry discussions with regulators, ecosystem partners, and associations on tokenization and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Product Ownership: Act as subject matter expert for tokenization products in India, ensuring market readiness and alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g., RBI card-on-file tokenization).

• Market Development: Engage with issuers, acquirers, merchants, and fintech partners to drive adoption and create scalable use cases.

• Execution: Lead client onboarding processes, product documentation, and operational readiness activities.

• Insights & Strategy: Track usage, KPIs, and ecosystem feedback; provide recommendations to enhance Mastercard's tokenization offerings.

• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with sales, customer delivery, legal, compliance, and technology teams.

• Innovation: Identify opportunities to embed tokenization into new digital experiences (e.g., e-commerce, in-app, IoT, wearable payments).

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in product management, preferably in payments, fintech, banking, or digital commerce.

• Strong understanding of card payments, digital wallets, tokenization, and payment security.

• Experience in launching or managing technology-driven products with multiple ecosystem partners.

• Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities for senior-level external and internal interactions.

• Familiarity with regulatory landscape (RBI digital payments guidelines, data security norms) preferred.

• MBA and BE Computer Science is desirable.
