Responsibilities

Proactively contacts suppliers to maintain pertinent data, obtain needed documentation, and enable suppliers in purchasing systems.
Support identification/resolution of supplier invoice and payment issues.
Support completion, closure, and recording activities for various contracts and other supplier documentation.
Prepare documentation for sourcing events.
Initiate/Support work delivering results in meeting cost, quality, delivery, and inventory goals.
Support supplier quality activities with supplier quality improvement engineers, suppliers, and category teams.
Liaison between purchasing teams and other functions.
Participating in health safety and environmental awareness and improvement activities and daily tasks.
Perform any other tasks assigned.
Participate in Project teams, when necessary, to ensure effective implementation of change.
Communicate with the supplier and work with supplier to manage Project deliverables within agreed timelines.
Use common process tools and business systems to provide repeatable analytics and reporting.
Ensure data integrity of all purchasing information as it is created and deliver ongoing improvement of existing data.
Identify improvements for business processes.
Global focus may be required.

Activities :

  • Executing & updating the Price Panel, BPA, Std PO/PPAP POs ,SOB, NFA Requests, Handover request to SCM planner, PMR closures
  • Establish Regular connect with supplier, supply chain team and update Critical parts tracker, Capacity & Risk related project tracker , strategic inventory management
  • Onsite supplier visits as per Business urgency and drive the Supply Chain activities
  • Supports in raising CQMS requests for PPAP and admin activities related to quality
  • Coordinates with part Buyer and supplier in-case of any issues with in-warding parts to ensure part shortage for build is avoided
  • Prepares analyses for Raw Material/Exchange-rate/inflation corrections and assists with supplier negotiations.
  • Performs the analytical work related to supply continuity operations and supports SC continuity manager in ensuring no supply disruption.
  • Takes lead in managing (GIEA Oracle-interface, GSAR, ARIBA cloud) for all systemic
    activities like processing Price Panels, updating provisions, raising POs, troubleshooting ASN/receipt issues, etc
  • Supports in raising Deviation/PCR/VPCR, Processes engineering releases
  • Track PPCA / PF /SCOC /NDA / ER for domestic and export business
  • Supports in RFQ, Performs routine supplier follow-up for RFQ questions, ER (Engg change) supplier responses, price variance resolution, cost savings Projects,
Qualifications

Engineering Diploma or Equivalent

  • No. of Years:- 3 – 7 years
  • Working experience in Purchasing/ Integrated Supply Chain will be preferrable
  • Command over Microsoft excel , Power Point
  • Experience to work in Oracle system and OBIEE/ BI publisher
  • Understanding of Engineering drawing and GD&T
