Job Brief:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance & Project Specialist to support the financial planning and execution of new café projects under Black Fuel Roastery. The role involves developing detailed financial models, conducting feasibility studies, analysing ROI, coordinating with investors, and ensuring effective cost management.

The ideal candidate should have strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and proven experience in financial planning and project costing. A proactive, analytical mindset and the ability to collaborate across teams are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Business Planning

  • Develop comprehensive financial business plans for new projects
  • Align financial strategies with the company's goals and objectives

Feasibility Studies

  • Conduct financial feasibility studies to assess the viability of new projects.
  • Evaluate potential risks and returns to ensure sound investment decisions

Return on Investment (ROI) Analysis

  • Analyze ROI for proposed projects to determine profitability.
  • Provide actionable insights to optimize financial outcomes.

Cost Management

  • Calculate working costs and project budgets for new cafes.
  • Ensure accurate costing for project execution and operations.

Budget Allocation and Spending Priorities

  • Allocate budgets effectively, prioritizing spending based on strategic goals.
  • Create a structured financial framework for resource allocation.

Investor Communication

  • Collaborate with investors to discuss financial implementation plans.
  • Advise on payment structures and ensure transparency in financial dealings.

Monthly Reporting

  • Prepare and present monthly turnover and profit & loss statements.
  • Provide detailed financial reports to stakeholders for informed decision-making.

Financial Advisory

  • Offer guidance on financial strategies for new cafes under Black Fuel Roastery.
  • Ensure compliance with financial goals and timelines.

Project Costing

  • Develop accurate cost estimates for new projects.
  • Monitor and control expenses to stay within budget.

Strategic Financial Oversight

  • Oversee all financial aspects of new cafe projects, ensuring alignment with the company's vision.
  • Continuously evaluate financial performance and suggest improvements.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, or project costing.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, feasibility studies, and ROI evaluation.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial modelling tools.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple projects independently.
