  1. System Monitoring & Alert Handling - Monitor IT infrastructure (servers, applications, network devices) using EMS tool. - Respond to alerts and alarms related to system performance, availability, or faults. - Perform initial assessment of issues and escalate to L2/L3 if required.

2. Incident Logging and Ticketing - Log incidents and service requests accurately in the ITSM system. - Categorize, prioritize, and assign tickets according to standard procedures. - Track open tickets and follow up for timely resolution or escalation.

3. Basic Troubleshooting and Resolution - Perform predefined Level 1 troubleshooting tasks such as restarting services, checking system statuses, or executing basic commands. - Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for issue resolution. - Assist in resolving low-complexity alerts and events.

4. Reporting and Documentation - Record detailed incident and resolution information for future reference. - Generate daily/weekly reports on alerts, incidents, and system health. - Maintain logs and shift handover notes to ensure continuity of support.

5. Communication and Coordination - Communicate with internal IT teams or vendors for issue escalation or resolution. - Keep users or stakeholders informed about ticket status, outages, or maintenance events. - Participate in daily operational meetings and status calls.

6. Adherence to SLAs and SOPs - Ensure all actions are performed within defined SLAs. - Ensure compliance with monitoring and escalation workflows.

  1. Relevant & Valid Associate/ Entry level or above OEM Certification (Trellix/ OpenText/ MicroFocus/ BMC/ HPE OpenView/ IBM Tivoli/ Motadata, etc.) required.
