About the Role

We are seeking motivated
L1 Support Engineers
to join our
Network & Security
operations team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring high availability, security, and performance of network infrastructure across multiple environments. You'll be responsible for first-level troubleshooting, monitoring, and escalation support in a fast-paced 24×7 environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Network Administration

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
  • Monitor network performance and availability using diagnostic tools.
  • Manage VLANs, subnets, and IP address allocation.
  • Maintain VPN services and ensure redundancy in infrastructure.
  • Support VoIP, DNS, DHCP, and related services.

2. Network Security Management

  • Implement and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and security monitoring systems.
  • Respond to network-based threats and anomalies.
  • Enforce network access control policies (e.g., NAC, 802.1X).
  • Conduct vulnerability scans and coordinate remediation.

3. Security Administration

  • Manage endpoint protection and antivirus systems.
  • Apply security patches and updates.
  • Support IAM and MFA configurations.
  • Monitor logs and alerts using SIEM tools.
  • Assist in DLP policy implementation and data protection.

4. Policy, Compliance & Documentation

  • Support ISO 27001 and NIST compliance initiatives.
  • Maintain audit records, policies, and incident documentation.
  • Generate reports on bandwidth usage, incidents, and compliance.

5. Collaboration & Escalation

  • Work closely with system admins, developers, and IT teams to ensure uptime.
  • Provide L1 support for network/security escalations.
  • Coordinate with senior engineers for issue resolution.
  • Participate in incident response and recovery drills.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in
    Information Technology, Electronics, Computer Science
    , or any similar technical discipline.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Valid Associate/Entry-Level or OEM Certification such as:
  • HPE / Fortinet / F5 / Cisco / Juniper / Extreme / Arista Networks.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 1–3 years of relevant hands-on experience in network or security support.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of network topologies, protocols, and security policies.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to work rotational shifts.
  • A proactive learner who stays updated with the latest networking and security technologies.
