Role Purpose

Program Management SOA

Person in this role will handle Mode-1 projects for SPInE. He need to ensure the delivery of SPInE Project to meet the Business Objective.

Role Accountability

Person should be able to carry out following responsibilities to be successful in this role:

1. Person is responsible to lead mid/large size one or more IT programs. He/She is required to work with development partners to ensure the execution of projects in a timely manner with expected quality
2. Person will lead projects in Middleware technology stack and be the single point of contact for all IT needs of assigned tech stack
3. Person is required to build a strong understanding of business processes across lifecycle of card domain as role is expected to bridge gap between business users and development partners on business understanding
4. Person should have a strong understanding of program management. He/She should be able to create project plan, drive both business & IT teams to work with plan, identify project/program risks and put mitigations or do timely escalation for help needed
5. Person should publish program dashboard to keep all stakeholders updated
6. Person is required to work on determining program budget, preparing a board note for obtaining the program approval and executing program within approved budget. Person is also required to plan for operating expenses
7. Working with business product owners & category heads to help them reach IT solutions for their digital needs. Person needs to design the IT solutions and review periodically with technical vendor teams
8. Bring technical experience on handling Integration projects involving technologies like Oracle Service Bus (OSB), SOA, Weblogic & Java/J2EE
9. Manage project timelines and cost ensuring highest quality and adherence to technology best practices and IT security requirements
10. Keep him/her self updated with latest technology trends in the industry and try and implement best suited technology changes within the opportunities provided by our business landscape
11. Prepare for engagement reviews & able to present to executive leadership

1. Number of Key projects and programs delivered
2. deliver assigned activities with best quality and within the desired timelines.
3. Ensure First Time Right delivery in production for the projects/tasks assigned to him/her

Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications

1. Role relevant certifications (Good to have but not mandatory):

1. PMP/Certified Scrum Master,
2. Oracle SOA Certification
3. Oracle Weblogic Admin

2. Experience

1. Handson experience on managing enterprise grade platforms
2. hands on experience in managing program with multiple stakeholders and applications

2. Project management - You should have an experience of defining IT processes, cross-platforms IT solutions and delivery of projects in WhatsApp technologies through a vendor/partner delivery team
3. Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships and creates processes with customer viewpoint
4. Stakeholders management - You need to effectively manage business and IT stakeholders through regular reviews and effective communication. You need to play as a strong team-member who can collaborate and lead large to midsized deliveries
5. Strong team player – The role entails working with multiple teams hence the candidate would need to display inclusiveness to lead as well as take the team along the life of the Program. Collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
6. Domain Expertise & Thought leadership – Person should be capable to bring required rigor in projects execution ensuring timely delivery and first time right of projects. Person should have holistic view ensuring delivering powerful and effective solutions in the integration space. He/She should have very good understanding of SOA, OSB, Webservices, Java, Microservices(Spring Boot Framework), API technologies.
7. Researcher & Quick Learner – Person needs to be up to speed with the current trends in industry for digital IT solutions. Should be able to learn quickly and take necessary adaptation as required
