We are seeking an experienced and proactive Team Leader – Operations to oversee the backend loan documentation process and manage a team responsible for ensuring smooth loan file processing, customer coordination, and quality control.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to drive performance and maintain operational excellence while supporting sales and customer experience goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of Loan Documentation / Backend Operations Executives.
  • Oversee daily operations including loan file verification, documentation, and backend processing.
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in loan disbursal processes.
  • Coordinate with sales, credit, and customer service teams to resolve discrepancies or delays.
  • Review and monitor team productivity and quality performance on a daily basis.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Handle escalated customer queries and ensure effective resolution.
  • Maintain MIS reports, operational dashboards, and performance trackers.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Support the achievement of sales and business targets through backend process excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • 4–7 years of experience in loan operations, backend processing, or financial documentation, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of KYC, loan documentation, and compliance processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and CRM tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience in Banking, NBFC, or Fintech environments.
  • Familiarity with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) or similar platforms.
  • Experience in sales coordination or customer engagement processes.
