We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commis 1 to join our team in the Pan Asian division of IHP Group. The ideal candidate will have between 2 to 8 years of experience in the culinary industry.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing high-quality dishes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Develop new recipes and menus to enhance the dining experience.
  • Participate in menu costing and inventory management.
  • Ensure all food products are stored properly and used efficiently.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commis 1 or similar role in a professional kitchen setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredients, and cooking methods.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
