Role Description:

  • Assist in the preparation of chai, snacks, and food items under the guidance of senior chefs.
  • Learn and follow Delhi Chai Café's standard recipes and kitchen hygiene protocols.
  • Help with ingredient preparation, cutting, cleaning, and kitchen setup.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and assist in daily kitchen operations.
  • Support in stocking inventory and managing basic kitchen supplies.
  • Be open to learning new cooking methods, presentation styles, and kitchen responsibilities.
  • Ensure proper food handling and safety standards at all times.

Required Skills:

  • Basic understanding of Indian cooking and a willingness to learn café-style food preparation.
  • Good hygiene habits and attention to cleanliness.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork and discipline in kitchen coordination.
  • Eagerness to build a long-term culinary career in the café/QSR industry.
