Job Description:

We are having an urgent opening for the position of Assistant Manager/Manager Legal for a reputed company at the Andheri location.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To handle contracts independently and deal with Legal compliances- Contract drafting, vetting of agreements.
  • Experience in handling a wide range of contracts – vendors, customers, and service providers.
  • Handling of transactional negotiations. Drafting of legal letters, and notices. Making representations and replies to statutory authorities requiring legal advice and assistance.
  • Experience in working with regulatory affairs, and govt. authorities, and other functions of the company to resolve legal issues of the company.
  • Work with management in drafting regulatory and compliance policies of the company.
  • Coordination with Advocates and Counsels in relation to company litigation matters and assist in the preparation in review of notices, replies, applications, written statements, etc.
  • Ability to analyze extensive legal documents, opinions, and laws and prepare comprehensive reports, summaries, and briefs.Good analytical skills and capable of providing sound and practical legal advice to business heads.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience in Corporate Agreements
  • Experience in NCLT, IBC, Section 138, Arbitration
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical and presentation skills.
  • Technical skills and has very good research and evaluative ability.
  • Possess excellent legal skills including drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
  • Shows persistence when faced with difficult challenges and maintains composure in stressful situations.

Education Qualification – Graduate in Law (LLB)
Experience- 5+yrs working in a corporate structure
