Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned logistics leader with ~10 years of strong experience in import/export operations, chemical/pharma APIs and intermediates & CSP, to lead the logistics function for our Mumbai hub. The successful candidate will own end‑to‑end logistics, including international freight, customs operations, regulatory compliance, vendor management, and coordination across procurement, manufacturing, quality and global supply chain teams. Flight Booking, ADC Clearance, & Other Custom related work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute logistics strategies for importing & Exporting APIs, Intermediates & CSP

  • Manage end‑to‑end freight operations (sea/air, FCL/LCL, break‑bulk).

  • Oversee customs clearance, CHAs, CFS/ICDs, and ensure compliance with INCO­TERMS and documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with import/export licenses and hazardous material handling/ Scomet.

  • Drive cost optimisation initiatives and lead logistics vendor negotiations.

  • Lead and mentor logistics and warehouse teams with performance KPIs.

  • Implement SOPs, ERP/logistics systems, and continuous process improvements.

  • Monitor risk management and regulatory compliance in logistics operations.

  • Present periodic logistics performance and cost reports to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA / Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management, Chemistry or equivalent.

  • Around 10 years of experience in logistics, import/export operations, preferably in pharma/ APIs & Intermediates

  • Strong knowledge of customs clearance, freight forwarding, sea & air freight, and incoterms.

  • Good understanding of Indian import/export regulations and hazardous goods handling.

  • Leadership experience in managing logistics teams and vendor negotiations.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with ERP/logistics system proficiency.

  • SEZ

  • Good Communication with international client.

Desired

  • Experience in pharma/biotech API logistics.

  • Exposure to global supply chains and multi-country routing.

  • Knowledge of hazardous goods shipping and trade compliance.

  • Work experience with bonded warehouses or FTZs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹80, ₹110,000.00 per month
