Job Overview:

  • The bankruptcy department oversees accounts that are registered in bankruptcy and referred, but is not limited to, the following tasks:

o Setting up workstations, plans reviews, POC/MFR/AO reviews, PCN/PPFN filing, and Closing workstations.

  • The Foreclosure department manages accounts that are defaulted and includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

o Both Judicial and Non-Judicial Foreclosure review, processing reinstatements, judgment figures, documents review and providing bidding instructions.

  • The Claims department is responsible for handling invoices that are received and processed in accordance with the established guidelines and approvals as per the matrix.
  • Assess the requests received within the Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, and Claims processes, ensuring that the team adheres to procedures and meets service level agreements.
  • Ensure that all assigned cases are addressed in compliance with regulatory, investor/insurer, and Trust Policy requirements and timelines.
  • Update and maintain all tracking systems, ensuring clear and accurate documentation of the accounts that have been worked on.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide the daily operations of the Operations team, ensuring that processing, timelines, departmental objectives, and customer expectations are fulfilled.
  • Establish performance targets for the team to achieve or surpass. Monitor and evaluate the performance metrics of the Operations team.
  • Facilitate governance meetings with clients and internal stakeholders to assess process performance.
  • Ensure the prompt hiring of new FTE or backfills to prevent any revenue loss. Strategize for resource allocation and capacity management.
  • Hold regular team meetings to gauge the team's morale and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to determine the training requirements of the team.
  • Oversee the daily functions of the team, including Team Leads, while inspiring the team to meet organizational objectives.
  • Equip team members with the necessary skills to enhance their confidence, product knowledge, and communication abilities.
  • Perform monthly performance evaluations, contributing to the company's growth through a high-performing team.
  • Work in partnership with other leaders on budgeting, program development and oversight, ensuring compliance, and fostering relationships.

Qualification & Experience

Educational qualification and years of experience required in any specific domain/skill for the role

  • Basic Degree completion (15 years of education)
  • Good written and oral communications skills in English
  • More than 5 years of US Mortgage Experience in managing Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, and Claims processes with 3 years as Manager/Assistant Manager role
  • Good exposure to MS office – especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
