Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Taxation to join our Finance team. The role involves managing indirect and direct tax compliances, supporting audits, and ensuring timely filing and accuracy across taxation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage GST compliances, including computation of monthly GST liability and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and Annual Returns (GSTR 9/9C).

  • Conduct ITC reconciliations with GSTR-2A/2B and ensure accuracy of reporting.

  • Prepare and submit responses to GST departmental notices and queries.

  • Handle income tax-related compliances: TDS liability review, return filing, and issuance of TDS certificates.

  • Prepare detailed schedules and workings for Tax Audits.

  • Provide withholding tax advisories to internal stakeholders and business teams.

  • Perform reconciliation between books and statutory returns, ensuring completeness and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified CA with articleship experience in GST law and return filing.

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in taxation and compliance

  • Strong understanding of tax procedures, audits, and reporting requirements.

Technical & Soft Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Working knowledge of Finance & Accounting tools such as SUN/ERP systems.

  • Experience with Taxation and e-filing software (e.g., Webtel, Genius).

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.
