About the position
Location: Bengaluru
Hybrid
This person ensures the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the company's financial statements. By managing end-to-end R2R processes, he/she guarantees timely month-end closing and compliance with global accounting standards. The role strengthens financial controls through thorough reconciliations and audit-ready documentation. It also enables seamless collaboration across global finance teams, supporting smooth operational handoffs. Overall, this role enhances financial transparency, reduces risk, and supports stronger business decision-making.
So, what does it take to be successful in this role?
Owning end-to-end R2R accounting processes
– You'll ensure accurate posting of journal entries, transaction processing, and timely completion of financial close activities in line with company policies.Performing reconciliations and reporting
– You'll conduct regular balance sheet reconciliations, prepare financial schedules, and support both internal and external audits with required documentation.Collaborating with global stakeholders
– You'll work closely with country controllers and cross-functional finance teams (Treasury, P2P, B2C, SCF) to ensure seamless handoffs and alignment.Ensuring compliance and system integrity
– You'll maintain the integrity of financial systems (SAP), adhere to financial controls, and support statutory reporting requirements.Driving process improvements and issue resolution
– You'll identify areas for improvement, resolve discrepancies, and proactively enhance service levels and reporting quality.
