Job Overview

Lighthouse Communities Foundation is looking for a motivated and energetic Spoken English Trainer to deliver high-quality English language training to youth at our Lighthouse Centre. This role plays a key part in improving students' job readiness through effective communication and digital literacy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom training in Spoken English to enhance students' communication and job readiness skills
  • Conduct regular student assessments to monitor progress
  • Provide individual feedback and mentoring to support learning and confidence-building
  • Report training progress and student development to the Master Trainer on time
  • Suggest and implement improvements in teaching methodology
  • Prepare and submit training reports as required
  • Collaborate and support team members during center activities and events

Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in any field
  • 1–2 years of teaching or training experience, preferably in English language instruction

Skill Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication in English
  • Excellent classroom facilitation and presentation skills
  • Comfortable managing and engaging a group of 25–30 students
  • Empathetic and approachable personality, with a passion for youth development
  • Ability to be a positive role model and foster a strong, inclusive learning culture
  • Commitment to the mission of youth empowerment and community transformation
