ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive SKU-wise growth and ensure product availability across all relevant outlets.
  • Implement trade schemes and promotional offers effectively to boost sales.
  • Manage relationships with distributors, retailers, and stockists to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor distributor performance, stock levels, and order fulfilment.
  • Resolve on-ground issues and escalate critical concerns to the Area Sales Manager.
  • Ensure regular market visits to cover all key outlets and expand retail footprint.
  • Identify new business opportunities and assist in onboarding new retailers.
  • Maintain beat plans and optimize route coverage for maximum efficiency.
  • Submit daily sales reports, stock updates, and market feedback to the Area Sales Manager.
  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and promotional tactics to inform strategy.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales performance and outlet-level data.
  • Ensure proper product placement, planogram adherence, and POS material deployment.
  • Monitor in-store branding and visibility across General Trade and Modern Trade formats.
  • Support execution of local marketing initiatives and product launches.
  • Attend regular training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance.
  • Adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and operational SOPs.
  • Educate retailers and distributors on product features and trade programs.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and stock replenishment.
  • Collaborate with trade marketing for activation support and promotional execution.
  • Support demand forecasting through accurate market insights.
