Job Summary:We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to manage the payroll processing and other related accounting activities. This role will involve ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll, statutory compliance, and employee benefits. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge and experience in managing PF, ESI, TDS, and other finance-related tasks for employees.
Key Responsibilities:Monthly Payroll Accounting and Reconciliation:Accurately process the monthly payroll, ensuring the correct calculation of salaries, bonuses, deductions, and benefits. Perform monthly reconciliation of payroll accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. PF and ESI Accounting and Compliance:Ensure timely and accurate accounting of Provident Fund (PF) and Employees' State Insurance (ESI).
Ensure the remittance of PF and ESI contributions to the authorities on time and maintain proper records for audit purposes. Employee Full and Final Settlement (F&F):Process Full and Final Settlements (F&F) for employees leaving the organization. Ensure accurate calculations for F&F settlements, including deductions, reimbursements, and leave encashment.
Staff Advances and Related Accounting:Manage and track staff advances, ensuring proper documentation, accounting, and timely repayment. Prepare reports and summaries related to staff advances for management review. Employee Reimbursement Accounting:Handle employee reimbursements (travel, medical, etc.), ensuring proper accounting, processing, and timely settlement.
Ensure all reimbursements comply with company policies and are within the allowable limits. Quarterly TDS Returns and Form 16 Generation:File quarterly TDS returns on time and ensure correct deductions as per the prevailing tax laws. Generate Form 16 for employees and ensure timely distribution after filing the returns on the Income Tax portal.
Gratuity Computation and Finalization:Compute and finalize gratuity payments as per statutory requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws. Coordinate with relevant authorities for gratuity fund management and ensure timely disbursements. Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), with 2-3 years' experience.
Proven experience in payroll management, accounting, and statutory compliance. Knowledge of PF, ESI, TDS, Form 16, and gratuity regulations. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, etc.). Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with employees and authorities. Preferred Skills:Experience with payroll management systems.
Familiarity with labor laws and tax regulations (PF, ESI, Gratuity etc).
