IP & Routing Network Integration Engineer
The IP Routing Services require performing advanced Network integration services in support of Nokia Service Routers in the customer's networks. Responsibilities include creating Methods of Procedure (MOP), service preparation, MOP execution, software upgrades and Test and Commissioning to include providing trouble shooting support as required for deployment activities.

Candidate Must Possess Product And Technology Knowledge As Follows

• Understanding of New Data Center Architecture (Spine/leaf)
• Understanding of Mobile Front/Backhaul deployment
• Understanding of End to End BNG deployment

Candidate Shall Perform The Following Tasks
Methods of Procedure (MOPs)

• Meet with Line Manager's designee, TPM & Design team to understand MOP requirements.
• Prepare MOP's to safely upgrade software on customer equipment; resolve scripting problems as well as support internal teams with maintenance activities.
• Write the MOP according to NOKIA standards (provided)
• Use substantial experience and discretion to provide validation of Method of Procedures (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for supporting 7750, 7705 and IXR equipment for hardware integration.
• Test/validate the MOP using network simulators, lab environment and peer review.
• Deliver and review the Final MOP with Line Manager, TPM and technical team.
• Demonstrate MOP execution in a lab setting or FOA as required.
• Perform execution following approved Method of Procedures documents.

Checklists

• Provide Checklists to Line Manager and review with team. Perform data integrity verification of 7750, 7705 and 7250 IXR nodes in preparation for integration and software upgrades.
• Detail Checklist dependencies and tasks required to execute MOP.
• Ensure Checklists are completed and accepted by customer prior to deployment

IP & Routing Major Technical Tasks provided (Applicable to Level 1)

• NRS I Certified
• CQ Creation, CWS, Configuration Script Creation
• Status Calls, Project Requirements and Planning
• Prechecks/ Post Checks (dump existing config, admin save, create rollback points) on all MLS, Offload and Hub 7750
• Establishing sessions, bringing up GUIs, informing VzW NOC/MSC of MW activities Determine HLD/LLD requirements
• Build configs based on tools output
• Determine HLD/LLD requirements
• Planning Meetings
• Site access, and travel as needed
• CQ pre-population

Level 2 resources are qualified to support all Level 1 services in addition to services listed below:

• NRS II Certified
• LLD / MOP Review
• Configuration Testing
• Push Software releases
• Maintenance Window Card install, provisioning, port turn-up
• Email reports, posting logs on SharePoint, informing VzW NOC/MSC of the completion of MW.
• Executing script on all Offloads, then all MLS
• Execute scripts on as many 7705's/7250's as possible in the maintenance window.
• Manual script execution to be applied manually on specific routers.
• Configuration Testing: NNI Port Add Service (eNSE)
• Maintenance Window Provisioning, port turn up.
• iGen configuration generation
• SIM Lab testing
• Validate with customer: eNSE Routed Ring Migration/Brownfield
• 7210 RLC CQ portion

Level 3/4 resources are qualified to support all Level 1&2 Services in addition to services below:

• NRS II or SRA Certified
• Capable of delivering all level 1-3 Services
• Router turn up (7250,7705, 7750 SR1, IXR)
• Greenfield Router Large Integration7750/Router turn up (7250,7705, 7750 SR1, IXR)
• Maintenance Window preparation and pre-check, run scripts, reboot router, post checks.
• Maintenance Windows Network Cut In
• Maintenance Window Cut-Over SR HUB
• Provide on-site monitoring and troubleshooting support for assigned special events.
• Software Maint. Window preparation and pre-check, run scripts, reboot router, post checks.
• Router SR turn-up for Migration Large Brownfield SR HUB
• Migration MoP preparation
• Network Integration (Staging or Field) & validation
• ATP Creation and approval
• Status reporting

IP & Routing SME and Technical Activities (Applicable to Levels 4 Services)

• SRA Certified
• Capable of delivering all level 1-4 Services
• Research requirements for Advanced MOP 's
• Create IP & Routing Test Plans
• Execute the IP & Routing Test Plan
• Create Acceptance Test Plan creation
• Provides leadership, knowledge transfer and support to level 1-3 resources.
• Acceptance Test Plan execution and implementation
• End to End IP Routing Solutions and design review.
• Development of E2E Solutions in support of High-Level Design
• Analyze and evaluate solutions if applicable
• Perform Data Integrity of 7750, 7705 & 7250 IXR nodes in preparation of software upgrades.
• Perform Software Upgrades, implementation, integration, and maintenance support as required.
• Provide IPv6 telecommunications traffic migration services for customers.
• Execute procedures and use proprietary software tools to support deliverables.
• Escalate quality issues to improve products and services delivered to the customer.
• Monitor network elements after MOP execution to ensure no issues are present.
• Update/revise MOPs, SOPs, and data as a result of lessons learned" from execution phase.

Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) Execution

• Collect and analyze data results of MOP execution.
• Document data and analysis results in required NOKIA format.
• If necessary, escalate quality issues to improve products and services delivered to the customer.

Status Reports

• Provide Nokia with Status Reports for every network access event resulting in a modification of existing status by supplier. (Format provided)
• Include configurations changes, upgrades, log collection.
