Gurgaon, Haryana, India COWI Full time ₹ 70,00,000 - ₹ 1,80,00,000 per year

Do you want to join one of the leading consulting companies, creating value for customers, people and societies worldwide? Are you motivated by working with accounting, indirect tax, month-end close, and financial processes? Do you thrive in ensuring high accuracy, effective internal controls, and compliance? Then join us and take your career to the next level.

A position that will push your development further

Finance India works closely with our headquarters in Denmark and various COWI finance departments globally. On a daily basis, we partner with management and business units in COWI India. Our scope covers end-to-end finance activities including month-end close, payroll coordination, vendor management, cashflow, compliance, reporting, and process optimisation. We are a professional team based in the Gurgaon office.

In this position, you will join our team of finance specialists and work closely with the Head of Finance. Your core responsibilities will include managing Accounts Receivable processes, GST compliance, month-end closing activities, and supporting audits. You will also collaborate on enhancing internal controls and improving processes together with the team.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Manage monthly GST compliance, including returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ISD), input reconciliations, payments, refunds, and handling GST notices, audits, and related documentation.
  • Support statutory, internal, and GST audits by preparing reconciliations, providing required evidence, and ensuring timely closure of audit queries.
  • Enhance internal controls by implementing audit recommendations and maintaining proper compliance processes.
  • Handle month-end close activities related to GST, AR, and other finance processes.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable tasks such as posting payments, AR reconciliations, intercompany balance confirmations, stock statements, stakeholder follow-ups, and provisioning for doubtful debts.
  • Support statutory notices, new contract documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes.

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.

The first step to success in this role is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

To thrive in this role, you must be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, GST, month-end close, and audits.

Additionally, you have:

  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency in English communication, both written and oral; resourceful and willing to take initiative.
