We are looking for an experienced Staff Engineer to join our Product Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep, hands-on experience building and scaling complex software systems from scratch and a strong product mindset.

Design, build, and deliver robust, scalable, and user-centric product features end-to-end.

Architect and implement backend systems that enable rich API collaboration experiences across Postman's ecosystem.

Work on distributed systems, search and recommendation features, or core product services that operate at global scale.

9+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with proven end-to-end project ownership.

Experience working in product-based technology companies, ideally with large-scale customer-facing systems.

Strong understanding of distributed systems, search and recommendation systems, or large-scale data-driven products.

Expertise in one or more modern programming languages — Java, Go, Python, C++, or

Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design.

Experience with microservices architecture, REST APIs, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
