Role description

Job Title: Derivatives Operations Lead

Location: Chennai, India (mandatory)

Shift Timing: UK Shift (1 PM – 10 PM IST or as per business requirement)

Experience Required: 5–7 Years

Employment Type: Full-Time

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: 5–7 years in Derivatives Operations (OTC and/or Exchange-Traded)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field

  • Product Knowledge:

  • Strong exposure to OTC Derivatives such as CDS, IRS, Options, Inflation Swaps, CFDs

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Basic Formulas)

  • Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

  • Soft Skills:

  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a proactive mindset
  • Location: Must be based in Chennai or willing to relocate
  • Shift Flexibility: Comfortable working in UK business hours
Good-to-Have Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience using the Aladdin platform
  • Familiarity with Excel Macros, Power Query, or BQL
  • IMC qualification or relevant financial certifications
  • Prior involvement in regulatory reporting, client onboarding, or process improvement projects
  • Understanding of fund administration and third-party reconciliation systems
