We are seeking a dynamic Legal & IP Associate to be stationed on-site at one of India's most prestigious government-backed innovation and prototyping centers in Hyderabad — a space where cutting-edge startups, makers, and deep-tech innovators bring their ideas to life.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of corporate law, transactions, and intellectual property, engaging directly with founders, investors, and innovators — while being mentored by our central legal and IP team.

What You'll Do

  • Be the on-site legal point of contact for innovators and startups, coordinating all legal and IP-related requirements.
  • Liaise between our central legal team and the on-ground ecosystem at the innovation center.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and managing agreements (MoUs, NDAs, MSAs, service/vendor/employment agreements, data-sharing, etc.).
  • Assist in policy, compliance, and risk advisory — including privacy, terms of use, and safety documentation.
  • Facilitate basic IP support: patent/trademark filings, invention disclosure coordination, and IP awareness sessions.
  • Contribute to founder bootcamps and workshops focused on legal and IP readiness for startups.

Who You Are

  • Law graduate (LL.B.) with 1–2 years of experience in corporate legal, startup advisory, or IP law.
  • Familiarity with contracts, startups, IP basics, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Based in Hyderabad (or willing to relocate immediately).
  • Able to join immediately and thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
