Role Responsibilities
Trade Activation & Shopper Engagement
- Partnering the Customer Marketing Manager, the Assistant Trade Marketing Manager will oversee the execution of the annual trade marketing calendar across strategic airport locations, ensuring alignment with brand priorities and commercial objectives.
- Provide support on execution of Media campaigns, KOL marketing and social campaigns to drive brand awareness for key campaigns.
- Take ownership of deploying permanent and temporary visibility solutions that drive conversion and elevate brand presence at point-of-sale.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Brand Marketing, and Customer Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution and timely feedback loops.
- Manage external agencies to deliver best-in-class activations, tailored to each location's shopper profile and retailer dynamics.
- Drive the rollout of new visibility assets, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, timely delivery, and optimal planogramming.
- Track and manage GWP allocation and usage in line with trade plans, ensuring ROI and compliance.
- Monitor competitor activities and shopper trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
Execution Excellence & Performance Tracking
- Ensure POS materials and activations reflect brand image and premium positioning.
- Provide post-campaign analysis and insights to improve future activations.
- Maintain a deep understanding of airport dynamics, shopper behavior, and retailer operations to inform activation strategies.
- Identify and leverage high-impact touchpoints across the shopper journey to maximize visibility and engagement.
Role Responsibilities
Operational & Administrative Support
- Independently manage purchase requisitions and budget tracking for trade marketing investments.
- Maintain master data files and ensure accurate documentation of campaign assets and timelines.
- Prepare internal presentations, monthly reviews, and retailer sell-in decks with minimal supervision.
- Support planning and execution of trade shows and VIP stakeholder visits at airport locations.
Qualifications
- A recognized university degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline with experience of minimum 5 years
- Proven ability to work independently with strong ownership, while also thriving in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
- Highly organized, proactive, and creative, with the ability to think quickly and generate ideas that drive shopper engagement and premiumization.
- Strong project management and planning skills, with a track record of delivering complex initiatives on time and on brand.
- Sharp attention to detail and a passion for executional excellence across multiple touchpoints.
- A credible and adaptable team player, with the integrity and interpersonal skills to build trust across senior stakeholders, peers, and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, stay focused under pressure, and consistently deliver against plans.
- Experience working in cross-cultural environments or with international teams is a strong advantage.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across marketing and commercial functions.
