Role Overview: We are seeking a high-performing Trade Marketing Manager to drive brand visibility, shopper engagement, and sales performance across General Trade Channel. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical acumen, on ground execution excellence, and strategic thinking to align trade marketing initiatives with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Trade Marketing Strategy & Planning


• Develop and execute annual trade marketing plans in alignment with brand and sales objectives.


• Identify regional and channel-specific opportunities to drive volume and visibility.


• Collaborate with the sales team to design trade schemes, promotions, and activation calendars.

2. Channel & Visibility Management


• Design and implement Point-of-Sale (POS) materials, visibility drives, and in-store branding.


• Ensure execution excellence for visibility campaigns across General Trade Channel


• Manage third-party vendors, agencies, and promoters for in-market activations.

3. Data Analytics & Performance Measurement


• Track ROI on trade spends and analyze sales uplift from marketing interventions.
• Leverage data insights to improve efficiency of promotions and merchandising investments.


• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to inform trade strategies.

4. Collaboration & Cross-functional Alignment


• Partner with Brand Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution


• Support new product launches through targeted trade activation plans.


• Develop communication and training modules for the field force on trade marketing programs.

5. Budget & Compliance Management


• Manage trade marketing budgets efficiently and ensure compliance with company guidelines.


• Conduct regular audits of trade marketing initiatives and merchandising assets.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Category Management, or Sales within the FMCG sector.

MBA From Tier-1 or Tier-2 college is Manadatory

Skills & Competencies:

o Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.

o Excellent executional and project management abilities. o Proficiency in MS Excel and data-driven decision-making.

o Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

o Understanding of shopper behavior and retail dynamics.
