Sr. Manager Sales

Role & responsibilities:
The role involves promoting combustion catalysts and specialty chemicals to industries such as thermal power, cement, steel, and mining, with a strong focus on long-term conversion and repeat usage.
It also includes close coordination with internal technical teams and client representatives throughout the sales cycle.
- Identify and develop new opportunities through direct client engagement and industry referrals.
- Engage with client personnel through meetings, presentations, and solution discussions to build alignment and trust.
- Facilitate visits and interactions between senior management/product specialists and client teams where deeper technical discussions are needed.
- Prepare and submit tailored proposals; follow up to secure trial orders and approvals.
- Collect the Customer Information Sheet to capture plant parameters and define client expectations.
- Coordinate with internal and plant teams to ensure smooth execution of on-site trials.
- Liaise with client representatives during product delivery and address any related operational requirements.
- Drive post-trial engagement to secure repeat orders and establish consistent product usage.
- Maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication and field visits.
- Share regular updates on sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights with the Reporting Manager.
Preferred candidate profile
- Effective communicator, confident in plant-level and senior-level conversations.
- Understanding of combustion catalyst applications and target industries (preferable)
- Self-driven, goal oriented, and capable of independently managing the sales process.
- Comfortable working across teams and coordinating on-site activities.
- Ethical, reliable, and willing to travel extensively within the assigned region.
- Be willing to travel extensively in the assigned area of operation
